Tracey Long
I have been with Novant Health for 30 years in various human resources roles including compensation, HRIS, business partner, employee relations, manager, and currently as director. I started my journey with Novant Health in Winston-Salem but have been located in Brunswick County since 2006.
I joined NCHHRA in 2008. I began my service on the board in 2016 and 2017 as the compensation/benefits survey chair. I then served as president-elect in 2018, and president in 2019. Currently, I am serving as immediate past-president. I earned my CHHR in 2017 after joining ASHHRA.

Eric Richardson
Dr. Eric L. Richardson is a higher education leader with 14+ years experience in business, human resources, and healthcare in traditional and non-traditional environments. Currently he serves as the Program Coordinator for the Master of Healthcare Administration degree at the Univeristy of North Carolina, Wilmington. Richardson’s academic background consists of a PhD in Organization Management/Human Resource Management. In addition, he has completed two Post Graduate Certificates in Human Resource Management and Health Administration. At the master's level, he has completed a Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Public Health, Health Promotion. Dr. Richardson currently holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute, the SHRM – Certified Professional credential, and the Certified Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR) Certification from the American Hospital Association. He has served as a Human Resources Manager within one of the United States top 50 companies Beyond HR, Dr. Richardson’s work history consists of executive level work experience in academia as well as a variety of positions in for-profit, non-profit, and community based industries

I have 35 years of experience in the human resources arena with last 20 focused on benefits and compensation.
Cape Fear Valley is a 851-bed, 8-hospital regional health system, the 8th largest in North Carolina, with more than 1 million inpatient and outpatients annually. A private not-for-profit organization with 7,000 employees and 850 physicians.
